Details from the final indoor installation at my  'Birmingham By Pass' solo show, 2017.  Throughout the residency I pasted up an evolving collage of my photographs, stories and views as I painted along the canal side.  

This image 'Pathways' shows; one of the birds I painted, the giant fig tree perched along the inner-city canal, entrances to the shrub side shelters used by the homeless, steel beams dominating the rail and road networks overhead, the tow path bursting through decades of use and some of the many grooves carved into the iron bridges from horse and man as they pulled the narrow boats.
